Find out if Lumos is a fit.
Because we are intentionally small, fit matters more than polish. We look for families who value deep learning and steady growth.
Kids who thrive here
We do not believe in one type of learner. But we do look for a few signals.
Curiosity that shows up as questions, projects, or deep interests
Willingness to try hard things and stick with them
Kindness and maturity in how they treat other kids
Families who value real learning over polish and status
We welcome a wide variety of kids. What matters is whether a child will thrive in a place that asks them to think, try, and improve.
Admissions process
1
Conversation and visit
A short call and then a visit to understand your child, answer questions, and see if there is likely a fit.
2
Shadow experience
Your child spends time with us during a real school day to see what it feels like.
3
Application form
A simple application focused on what matters, not paperwork for its own sake.
4
Parent interview
A longer conversation about expectations, culture, and how we work with families.
5
Decision
We make decisions quickly and communicate clearly. If it is a yes, we move forward. If it is a no, we will tell you why.

Financial support
We offer limited financial support in year one. We are building the school carefully and keeping the model sustainable.
If Lumos feels like the right fit but the fees are a stretch, tell us early. We will be transparent about what is possible.
Common questions
Families usually have the same core questions. These answers are our default, and we are happy to go deeper in a conversation.
