Former MIT President joins Lumos School as an advisor

We have exciting news to share: Dr. L. Rafael Reif, the 17th President of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), has agreed to serve as an advisor to Lumos School.

MIT is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading universities for science, engineering, technology, and innovation. During his tenure as MIT’s 17th President, Dr. Reif led the university through a period of rapid technological change and championed innovation, excellence in education, and preparing students for a fast-changing future.

As an advisor to Lumos School, Dr. Reif will help us think deeply about how education should evolve in the age of AI. His experience at the forefront of technology, research, and learning will provide valuable guidance as we continue building a school that prepares young minds for an accelerating future.
