When friends make learning cool

With orientation week over and academics beginning we wondered: could we maintain the excitement? We needn't have worried!

Things we overheard this week:

We love that the kids are excited. But even better, we love that they are sharing their excitement with each other.

Your child’s classmates are teachers, too

There’s a familiar saying that we become the average of the five people we spend the most time with. The number matters less than the idea: the people around us shape what feels normal.

When trying hard feels uncool, children may hide their interest. When friends love learning, they give one another permission to show it. We couldn't be more pleased by the "learning is cool" culture developing at our school.
